Kaseya Launches in Australia with 50 Customers and Release of Industry Leading IT Managed Service Software

Expanded Global reach to meet strong customer demand

SYDNEY, Aust, March 9, 2007 -- Kaseya International Ltd., a global provider of IT Managed Service Automation software for solution providers and corporate IT organisations, today launched its Australia offices and announced more than 50 service provider and system integrator customers.

Heading Kaseya’s local operations is local managed services specialist, Mr Tim Dickinson.

Kaseya has also announced the availability of the latest version of its industry leading IT managed service software which features extended support for Microsoft operating systems, including Microsoft Vista.

In addition to Vista support, this 4.7 release of Kaseya’s IT management software delivers systems monitoring alerts to mobile devices and support for 64-bit Microsoft operating systems among many other enhancements.

Announcing details in Sydney today, Kaseya CEO, Mr Gerald Blackie, said securing Tim Dickinson was a major factor in being able to attract 50 customers at the time of its launch in Australia.

Blackie also announced that Kaseya has signed agreements with one of New Zealand’s largest system integrators Infinity Solutions and NSW-based reseller AXXIS Technology.

He said that with new offices opening recently in Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and South America the company was on strategy for continued growth and to increase annual bookings revenue by a further 40 to 50 percent.

“The traditional break/fix model, the core of SMB IT services, is making way for new and improved proactive, automated managed service delivery.”

“It is a global shift.  The drivers are the significant profit improvements for the service provider and much greater end-customer satisfaction from the services offered,” he said.

Blackie said the model was being strongly supported by IT administrators who need to reduce complexity and increase productivity in delivering IT services to their customers at a lower cost than the traditional model offered.

Outlining details of the 4.7 release of Kaseya’s IT management software, he said the managed service framework was a new generation of managed services software that provided an integrated, automated & remote systems management solution with a complete view of the IT environment.

“This release of our IT Managed Service Automation software reflects Kaseya’s commitment to our customers and partners as they advance their IT infrastructure on the latest Microsoft platforms, such as 64-bit operating systems and Vista,” he said.

“At the same time, we’re making IT management easier and more efficient with added functionality and features that include ticketing access for mobile devices, unequaled remote access capabilities and enhanced global presence with the support of Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese language sets.”

Tim Dickinson said Kaseya’s monthly term payment plan allowed service providers to offer managed services and earn a recurring revenue stream, improving efficiencies and lowering their overall cost of service delivery.

He warned that system integrators and service providers still charging SMBs “hourly rates” for their services were a dying breed.

“System integrators earning the majority of their income selling services on an hourly basis are going to die out unless they move across to a managed services platform,” added Dickinson.

Milestone customers in Australia and New Zealand

Infinity Solutions has chosen the Kaseya MSP platform to deliver managed services to over 1,000 machines, with plans to move to 5,000 seats in the near term.

“Kaseya was evaluated by Infinity over a three month period by our engineering teams and we were impressed with the functionality provided by this platform,” said Infinity CIO, John Gould.

AXXIS Technology’s senior network consultant Mathew Dickerson also hails the Kaseya platform as a great tool that his business can use to sell a range of managed services to customers, backed by his award-winning guaranteed service level agreements.

“The entire IT world is moving on from the break/fix mentality,” said Dickerson. “Kaseya delivers us a platform that lets us build a profitable managed services practice, providing us with a recurring revenue stream,” he said.

Globally, Kaseya has increased its number of IT service provider and corporate customers by three-fold.

“Kaseya software helps us implement best practices for managed services with ease,” added Dickerson. “Using Kaseya for managed services creates a win-win situation for both the MSP and the customer,” he added.

Gerald Blackie’s visit follows a well received seminar series held across Australia and New Zealand, covering seven cities and attended by over 200 system integrators.

Looking ahead

Kaseya plans a successful year for 2007 as it launches more initiatives in the areas that Kaseya places first and foremost – product development and customer support.

Customers should expect continued product development with additional modules for improved and more efficient and effective IT service. In support of those products, Kaseya will offer expanded training and comprehensive sales tools for service providers.
