Kaseya Solution Streamlines and automates IT Tasks from a Central Management Console
ST. HELIER, JERSEY, December 4, 2007 — Kaseya, a global provider of information technology (IT) automation software for IT solution providers and corporate IT organizations, announced today that Wilkinson Public Library in Telluride, Colo., is using Kaseya's automatic systems management solution to ensure the availability and performance of mission-critical applications that manage the library's growing inventory of books, periodicals and other materials. The Kaseya solution gives Wilkinson Public Library’s sole IT administrator complete visibility and access into all servers and workstations on the network from a central management console, allowing him to streamline basic tasks like patch management, software deployment, backups and monitoring, effectively eliminating redundancy and reducing hands-on manual maintenance.

At the same time, patrons are able to access an electronic catalogue, log on to the Internet and sign up for library cards and schedule meeting rooms online.
Huff is able to automate basic tasks like patch management and software deployment by eliminating much of the repetition usually associated with IT maintenance. For example, when Microsoft issues a patch, he can download the update locally and then push it out automatically to the rest of the network at the touch of a button. Previously, Huff would have had to physically download and install the patch on each machine—a process that took days, even weeks.
