Automated Deployment
Centrally and remotely deploy KSBR to managed machines and also bring existing StorageCraft installations under management from with the Kaseya UI.
Setup Wizard
Interactive summary takes you through the key steps involved in deployment and setup, making it quick and easy to get familiar with the main elements of using KSBR to manage backup.
Dashboard
Quickly review information from all backups to see when backups are completed, when errors occur, when the next backup is scheduled, what the backup source is and what the configured destination is for backups. Everything you need to know about all of your backups in one easy to read dashboard.
Status
See real-time live status of backups as they take place showing elapsed and remaining time estimates and throughput of backups in Bytes-per-Second.
Backup Mount
From within the Kaseya console, you can pick any previously completed backup and mount it as a browsable drive on any KSBR machine on the same network.
Profile Management
Continuing Kaseya’s established convention of easy to automate settings, System Backup and Restore uses Profiles to support all the main settings for backups allowing you to create multiple profile types and assign them as needed across multiple machines, making setup quick and easy.
Simplified Organisation
Organized into cabinets, KSBR makes it easy to create and manage multiple profiles to incorporate the multitude of backup scenarios you need to support across sites and organizations.
Wizard Driven Approach
The Edit Profile wizard steps you through all of the necessary information to control your backup processes such as Drive Selection including automatic drive selection for fixed and removable drives, destination settings, schedule and detail options such as splitting images, encryption, task execution controls, MD5 parity check, performance throttling and much more.
Advanced Scheduling
For resilience and complete flexibility, the KSBR module gives you all the options in the UI you would expect for complete schedule control and then once set in profiles, these schedule options are sent to the local scheduler to ensure that backup schedules are retained and executed irrespective of the current Agent status. Advanced Scheduling options give you the flexibility to set regular weekly and monthly full backups with a different schedule for incrementals in between.
Alerts
It’s essential with something as critical as backup to have immediate visibility of import events. Alerts give you visibility of successful, completed and failed backups as well as low storage warnings and missed schedules. Of course as with all Kaseya alerts, you can decide how best to receive them either inside the product, in your email inbox or even using automated remediation by running a procedure.
Detailed History
Between the Backup History and Application Logging you can find detailed information about every backup process and every setting change within the module to track all changes and troubleshoot any backup issues.
