Hide and Go Seek With the VNC System Tray Icon

How to Really Hide the VNC System Tray Icon

When the Kaseya agent is installed and VNC is used for remote control, it is common knowledge that the VNC system tray icon also appears. If you have tried to get rid of this little bugger and failed, you may have done just this.

If you run the “Hide VNC System tray icon” script, you have to make sure that you check the option accordingly under the Remote Control — Set Parameters. If you do not, the first time you take control of the box it will unhide the system tray icon.
