Microsoft rolled out its new Windows 10 1809 update last week, and many early upgraders seem to have had problems with the installation. Issues like file deletion and screen freezing during installation seem to affect many devices.
Equally concerning, the update is apparently having compatibility issues with some newer Intel CPUs. Microsoft notes that this incompatibility might result in excessive processor usage, along with reduced battery life.
This and many other problems seem to be cropping up each day.
Microsoft has developed fixes for the file deletion and has re-released the update recently. But are you ready to take the risk and install the update without prior preparation?
Worried you might run into newer and more complex problems?
Fear not. Kaseya has got you covered.
Kaseya will be hosting a webinar, conducted by Lead Sales Engineer Anthony Sayegh. In the webinar, Anthony will explain how Kaseya can help with the installation by:
- Cleaning disks to free up space on hard drive
- Notifying about space availability
- Helping run procedures before and after patch deployment
- Proactively reporting on issues
The webinar will be held on October 17 at 2 pm EDT. Don’t miss out. Register today.
