For attendees at Connect IT Global, Day 2 was full of opportunities to learn and be excellent across three key dimensions of tech – people, process, and technology.
Three Key Dimensions of Tech
People
People learn from one another – and a conference with roughly 1,800 attendees provides almost unlimited ways to learn and make meaningful connections, from mealtimes, to training, to breakout sessions, to even just walking around the venue. While riding an elevator down to the conference yesterday, I was delighted to meet an MSP who shared a great story about Fred Voccola – and how Fred speaks with that MSP and others regularly, one-to-one, to check how Kaseya is doing to help MSPs meet their goals, and where Kaseya can improve.
Although the Connected Pool Party had to move indoors due to the threat of lightning from passing thunderstorms, the lack of a swimming pool did not stop connections from being made. (In my case, another MSP and I spent an hour chatting about everything from Texas BBQ to the challenges he’s facing in his business, and some ways I might be able to help, person-to-person.)
Process
Building robust processes will help improve cybersecurity, as we heard in the security panel discussion yesterday. Building a robust career and robust teams, building a scalable business, includes making learning a repeatable process – Connect IT Global’s technical training and certifications, and Kaseya University, enable that. Automation is a key part of process control and repeatability, which leads us to the third facet – technology.
Technology
Technology is key for MSPs who want to outperform their peers. Automation is key. Technician efficiency is key. Connect IT Global is key – because the technology showcased in the Partner Pavilion, and previews of the integrated workflows built and coming across IT Complete plus products like ID Agent’s BullPhish ID – give you the insights you need to make smart decisions about where to invest now and in the months to come.
