Job Title: Associate Director, Bookings Analytics

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Associate Director to help lead and grow our newly established Bookings Analytics function within the Strategic Finance & Operations division. This role is pivotal in developing a best-in-class team to leverage data to drive strategic decisions, forecasting, and reporting across bookings, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and other related performance indicators. You will serve as a key bridge between finance and data teams, ensuring that analytical insights align with financial goals and meaningfully steer strategic priorities. This role also provides unique exposure to other sub-divisions of Strategic Finance, including Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Lender Relations. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement analytics frameworks to support company-wide goals and strategic initiatives. 
  • Build and lead a high-performing Bookings Analytics team, focusing on recruiting top talent, fostering professional growth, and driving team performance 

2. Analytics and Insights:

  • Analyze bookings data to uncover trends and provide actionable insights to a multitude of stakeholders, including senior C -Suite leaders, investors, and cross-functional division leadership 
  • Develop, standardize, and automate user-friendly dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key metrics and streamline reporting 
  • Model complex sales strategies and transactions to understand their impact on ARR and other financial metrics 
  • Play a pivotal role in systematically identifying and correcting inaccurate or inconsistent data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all analytics outputs

3. Collaboration and Integration:

  • Effectively communicate and influence across diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Act as a critical connector between finance and data teams, translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring data-driven insights inform financial decision-making 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for bookings analytics-related inquiries and deliverables

4. Systems and Tools:

  • Utilize advanced data warehousing, analytics, and visualization tools (i.e. Snowflake, SQL, Salesforce, PowerBI) to extract, manipulate, and visualize data
  • Identify and implement new technologies and processes to enhance analytics capabilities

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, finance, or a related field, with 2+ years in a leadership role

• Expertise in ARR, bookings, and relational modeling paired with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Advanced proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, Salesforce, PowerBI, and similar tools o While additional technical skills / programming languages are a bonus, strong strategic and analytical capabilities are the core focus

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
