Centralized license management

December 4
New
Autotask, Kaseya 365 Ops

Autotask now offers centralized license management, bringing all user licenses into a single, unified interface that simplifies administration and supports the new Committed Minimum Quantity (CMQ) licensing model.

The updated page combines resource and license management into one modernized UI, allowing administrators to manage Resource, Co-managed, and API users from a single location. This redesign also reflects the transition from High Watermark Pricing to CMQ, giving organizations more flexibility to scale usage above their minimum commitment with clear visibility into overages.

This enhancement delivers several benefits:

  • Unified management: View and manage all licensed users from one streamlined page without switching between screens.
  • Flexible licensing: Add users above your contractual minimum when needed, with overage automatically tracked for billing.
  • Improved visibility: Real-time tiles and a detailed table provide instant insight into license usage by type.
  • Simplified navigation: All previous admin links now automatically redirect to the centralized page for a consistent workflow.
  • No forced deactivation: Users aren’t disabled when you exceed your minimum commitment — usage is simply tracked, giving you more control.

Centralized license management makes it easier to oversee licensing, adapt to business changes and maintain a clear view of user allocation.
