Monitoring: Hardware monitoring driver migration

February 26
Enhancement
VSA 10, Kaseya 365 Endpoint

This release introduces a new hardware monitoring library in the Windows Agent starting with version 10.25, replacing a legacy hardware monitoring driver. The new implementation improves monitoring accuracy, security and long-term maintainability while maintaining compatibility during the transition period.

When editing hardware notification settings in the VSA 10 Agent Manager, parameters from both the new and legacy libraries will appear in dropdown menus. Legacy parameters are clearly labeled “(Deprecated)” to help administrators identify and replace them. For agents running version 10.25 or later without existing hardware notification configurations, deprecated parameters will no longer be available.

Important: The legacy driver will be removed in version 10.26. Administrators should replace deprecated parameters before March 26, 2026, to ensure uninterrupted hardware monitoring.
