Job Summary

Kaseya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect, Salesforce to join our team. The Salesforce Technical Architect will serve as the technical leader and strategic advisor for a team of approximately 25 Salesforce engineers, including leads and senior developers. This role will oversee the design, integration, and optimization of Salesforce solutions, with a primary focus on Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA), and DevOps automation through Gearset.

The Technical Architect will collaborate with engineering leadership, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance implementations that align with enterprise standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture review board and development of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
  • Architect and build scalable, high-performing solutions using Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and related platform technologies.
  • Promote the use of AI throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) across Engineering and other areas of the company.
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Define and document end-to-end architecture for Salesforce solutions, including CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA), integrations, and custom development frameworks.
  • Provide technical direction, code review, and solution oversight for a team of approximately 25 engineers, including leads and senior developers.
  • Lead the implementation and governance of Gearset pipelines for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment across multiple Salesforce environments.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and code quality through automated PMD scans, code reviews, and deployment policies.
  • Partner with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver reliable, scalable Salesforce releases using Agile methodologies and Jira-based tracking.
  • Analyze system performance, recommend architectural improvements, and drive root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives for incidents and recurring issues.
  • Coach and mentor team members to elevate technical capabilities, enforce engineering standards, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features, platform releases, and third-party tools to enhance system performance, scalability, and team productivity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including 3+ years in a technical architect or lead developer capacity.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong experience with Gearset, including pipelines, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile development environments using Jira.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and code review across Salesforce development teams.

Preferred Salesforce Certifications 

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II
  • Salesforce JavaScript Developer I
  • Salesforce CPQ
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect, Integration Architect, or Data Architect
  • Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant or Developer
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA).
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions that integrate Salesforce with external systems, including ERP, billing, data warehouse, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Prior experience managing or scaling mid-sized engineering teams of 10–20+ members.
  • Experience establishing or governing Salesforce architecture standards and development practices across multiple teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on system performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
