Unitrends

Unitrends now supports vDisk Export, giving admins the ability to restore individual virtual disks without recovering the entire VM for faster recovery.

For VMware, disks can be restored in VMDK format. Hyper-V supports VHD and VHDX, while KVM-based platforms such as QEMU and Proxmox support RAW format. All restores are done directly from image-based backups with no extra tools or conversions. This reduces recovery time, lowers resource usage, and makes it easier to deliver fast, precise recovery in modern virtual environments.
