Policy Targeting by Device Tag

July 23
Enhancement
VSA 10, Kaseya 365 Endpoint

Policies can now be assigned dynamically using Device Tags, automatically applying or removing configurations as device tag assignments change. This eliminates the need for manual policy updates, ensuring devices always receive the appropriate policies based on their current state while reducing administrative overhead.

The update also introduces enhanced policy governance with support for tag inclusion and exclusion, conflict detection and enforcement of a single active policy per type on each device. Administrators gain full visibility into which policies apply at the organization, site, group and device levels, along with the resulting Effective Settings, making policy management more predictable, scalable and easier to troubleshoot.
