Kaseya is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing category strategies to drive growth and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of these strategies while managing supplier relationships and optimizing category performance.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy Development

  • Develop comprehensive category strategies and plans that align with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of category strategies with company goals.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive business reviews for top tier suppliers and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Drive supplier scorecards and utilization of supplier portal

Category Performance Optimization

  • Analyze category performance metrics and implement actions to improve profitability and market share.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the category.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with business partners, legal, finance, and compliance to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
  • Provide category insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Lead cross-functional projects related to category management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, procurement, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
