Kaseya is a global provider of IT management and security software for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and enterprise IT teams. We empower IT professionals with tools to manage, secure, and automate complex environments across endpoints, networks, and cloud services.

We’re looking for a Manager of Software Engineering to lead high-performing .NET engineering teams building scalable, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of software engineers delivering robust, high-performance .NET applications and microservices.

Establish and track individual performance goals aligned with business priorities and engineering standards.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Coordinate with other managers to ensure alignment of deliverables, workload balance, and technical consistency across teams.

Partner with Product and Architecture teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical escalations when needed.

Implement and refine software delivery processes, ensuring code quality, test coverage, and operational excellence.

Work closely with HR to maintain a productive, healthy, and engaged engineering team.

Lead hiring, onboarding, and professional development of engineering talent.

Communicate progress, risks, and strategic updates effectively across leadership levels.

Technical Leadership Focus

Strong understanding of .NET 6/7+, C#, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API design.

Experience building and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure — including App Services, Azure SQL, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Pulumi or Terraform).

Knowledge of modern architectural patterns such as microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven design.

Hands-on experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.

Comfortable balancing technical oversight with people management, ensuring delivery without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years managing developers.

Demonstrated success leading .NET development teams in a complex SaaS or enterprise environment.

Deep knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and monitoring frameworks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to manage tough conversations with empathy and professionalism.

Skilled in performance management, career development, and fostering engineering excellence.

Proven ability to convert strategic direction into clear, actionable technical objectives.

Preferred Skills

Experience with distributed logging, telemetry, and observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, Application Insights, ELK).

Exposure to data storage optimization (Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Redis, or ADX).

Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS systems, scalability strategies, and cloud cost optimization.

Strong understanding of software security fundamentals and compliance considerations.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
