Marketing Strategy Sr. Analyst 

Location: Vancouver, Canada
Reports To: VP of Marketing Strategy 

Salary: $120,000 - 135,000 CAD

About the Role: 

Kaseya is seeking a Marketing Sr. Analyst to help shape and optimize the company's global marketing strategy across its portfolio of IT and cybersecurity solutions. In this highly visible role, you'll build comprehensive Power BI dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making, while working cross-functionally to analyze performance trends, evaluate market opportunities, and support go-to-market initiatives that fuel growth and customer acquisition. 

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with advanced Power BI expertise, strong analytical capabilities, B2B experience, and a passion for translating data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and reports. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and build executive-level Power BI dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into marketing performance, pipeline health, and ROI metrics 
  • Create automated reporting frameworks in Power BI to track strategic KPIs including brand reach, pipeline velocity, win rates, CAC, and market share 
  • Develop interactive data models that enable self-service analytics for marketing leaders across demand generation, product marketing, and revenue operations 
  • Develop strategic marketing insights to inform GTM planning, segmentation, campaign prioritization, and budget allocation 
  • Build Power BI reports integrating multiple data sources (Salesforce, Marketo, financial systems) to provide comprehensive campaign and channel performance analysis 
  • Analyze internal performance data alongside external market, customer, and competitive intelligence 
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and RevOps to align strategy across demand generation and pipeline creation 
  • Support strategic planning processes including quarterly and annual marketing reviews, board reporting, and campaign prioritization 
  • Design Power BI visualizations and models to assess ROI, CAC, and marketing contribution to revenue with drill-down capabilities 
  • Conduct customer lifetime value (CLV) modeling and create Power BI reports to inform segmentation, retention, and marketing investment decisions 
  • Develop executive dashboards for board-level reporting on competitive moves, market shifts, and channel effectiveness 
  • Set and refine the long-term strategic vision for the marketing organization, aligning goals across brands and business units 

Requirements: 

  • 5–7 years in marketing strategy, marketing analytics, or GTM strategy (B2B SaaS or tech preferred) 
  • Advanced Power BI skills required – must demonstrate ability to build complex reports, DAX calculations, data models, and interactive dashboards from scratch 
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining production-level Power BI reports used by executive leadership for strategic decision-making 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation 
  • Experience with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) 
  • Deep knowledge of CRM/marketing platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and integrating them into Power BI reports 
  • Demonstrated ability to turn data into strategy with clear, actionable recommendations and compelling visualizations 
  • Experience supporting or owning strategic planning cycles and executive reporting 
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing metrics and lifecycle 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills – able to present data stories to C-level executives 
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment with multiple brands and business units 
  • Experience in a consultative role or marketing/strategy consulting background is a plus
