Kaseya Cookie Notice

Effective date: November 22, 2025

Like many other companies and website operators, Kaseya (“we,” “our,” or “us”) may utilize cookies, beacons, clear gifs, tracking pixels, local stored objects, and other similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) on our websites or in Kaseya Products, such as by embedding them in HTML-based emails or placing them on your computer, smartphone or other device when you visit our websites or use Kaseya Products, including our customer portals (collectively, “Sites”), and use the services provided through our Sites (collectively, “Services”). We also work with third-party service providers and partners (including marketing partners, customer service providers, and others) to use Cookies for a number of purposes. For example, these technologies are used in:

  • Analyzing Site usage trends;
  • Gauging the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
  • Administering and providing functionality to the Site;
  • Tracking users’ movements around the Site;
  • Identifying devices associated with a visitor;
  • Gathering demographic information about our user base as a whole;
  • Saving your shopping cart; and
  • Identifying users to remember user settings (e.g. language preference).

(collectively, “Tracking”).

This Cookie Notice explains how we use Cookies and how you can manage them. Please review our Privacy Statement to learn more about our privacy practices.

  1. COOKIES AND ONLINE TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES WE USE

Cookies are a standard feature of websites and are small files of information that are stored on your computer, mobile device, or other devices (e.g., smartphones or tablets) to remember information about you.

Web beacons, clear gifs, tracking pixels, and other similar tracking technologies are tiny graphics files that enable us to recognize when you have visited our Sites or opened an email that we have sent you. They also enable us to generally monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our Sites to another, to deliver or communicate with Cookies, to understand whether you have come to our Sites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve Site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many instances, web beacons are reliant on Cookies to function properly, and so declining Cookies will limit your ability to use some features or areas of our Sites.

Local shared objects (also referred to as “flash cookies”) are data files that can be created on your computer by websites you visit. They enable Kaseya to collect and store information about your use of our Sites, to enhance your browsing experience, or to prevent Site fraud.

On certain Sites, we use Cookies that allow us to identify all devices that are likely to be associated with a visitor to the Site so that ads can be targeted, capped and sequenced across those devices. It also helps us match devices so we can appropriately and accurately honor opt-out choices across all devices we know are connected to the opted-out Cookie.

We use Google reCAPTCHA, a free service provided by Google, Inc., to protect our Sites from spam and abuse. Google reCAPTCHA uses advanced risk analysis techniques to decipher humans and bots. Google reCAPTCHA works differently depending on what version is deployed. For example, you may be asked to check a box indicating that you are not a robot or Google reCAPTCHA may detect abusive traffic without user interaction. Google reCAPTCHA works by transmitting certain types of information to Google, such as the referrer URL, IP address, visitor behavior, operating system information, browser and length of the visit, cookies, and mouse movements. Your use of Google reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. More information as to Google reCAPTCHA and how it works is available here.

Generally, we use four types of Cookies: strictly necessary, functional, performance, and targeting (or advertising).

Additionally, these Cookies break down into two further sub-types.

  • Persistent Cookies remain on a user’s device for a set period of time specified in the Cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created that particular Cookie. Persistent Cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Settings are browser and device specific.
  • Session Cookies are temporary. They allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Once you close the browser, all session Cookies are deleted.

Analytics, Targeting and Remarketing: We partner with third parties for analytics services (such as Google Analytics) as well as for remarketing services (such as Google, Bing, Facebook and G2) to: (a) allow Tracking on our Sites; (b) display advertising on our Sites; and/or (c) or provide advertisements about Kaseya on other sites that you may visit (“Remarketing”).

Google Analytics.  Google Analytics is among the third-party analytics companies that we work with, and most, if not all, of Kaseya Sites use Google Analytics.  Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that performs Tracking and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Services and Sites. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.  You can opt-out of having your activity available to Google Analytics in a number of ways.  For more information on the privacy practices of Google and ways to minimize availability of your information to Google, please visit Google’s Privacy and Terms webpage as well as this Google page that focuses on how Google uses information it gets from its partners, such as Kaseya.

Microsoft Advertising Services.  Kaseya uses online advertising services from Microsoft. To provide such advertising services, Microsoft collects Personal Data from you in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. This Microsoft Privacy Statement is available at https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement.
