GlueXperience, Kaseya Security Live and M&A Symposium Kick Off Kaseya Connect 2025

Kaseya Connect

Kaseya Connect 2025 started Monday, April 28 with three pre-day events:  the ever-popular GlueXperience and M&A Symposium, and the all-new Kaseya Security Live.

Kaseya Security Live gives attendees hands-on cyberthreat insight

The new Kaseya Security Live pre-day program track was a welcome addition. Industry leaders facilitated this full day of hands-on workshops designed to help attendees level up their cybersecurity skills.

Kaseya CPO Jim Lippie and Right of Boom Founder Andrew Morgan, welcomed about 250 attendees, framing the day around the latest cybercrime trends and actionable insights that attendees can put into practice immediately.

Facilitators led attendees into deep dives into the latest cybercriminal tactics, covering critical areas like business email compromise (BEC), adversary-in-the-middle (AiTM) attacks, incident response planning, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) strategies. The most exciting part of the day was two hands-on workshops where participants sharpened their defensive skills in real-world attack simulations.

From uncovering the tactics bad actors use to exploit electronic communications to building smart, actionable incident response plans, every session combined cutting-edge insight with hands-on learning. The result was an engaging, impactful day filled with lively discussions about what is going on in cybersecurity that left participants better equipped to mount a strong defense against evolving cyberthreats.

GlueXperience looks to the value of documentation

The perennially popular GlueXperience did not disappoint, with the GlueCrew on hand to share their expertise with 350 attendees.

The day opened with remarks from Wendy Har, Senior Director of Product Marketing, and Maria Popa, Product Marketing Manager, celebrating IT Glue’s global community of over 16,000 users and more than 6,000 reviews, a testament to the platform’s vital role in modern IT operations. Kevin Sequeira, General Manager of Kaseya’s PSA Suite, delivered a keynote, “The Formula for IT Operations Success,” emphasizing the importance of operational maturity, AI-driven automation and simplification to overcome today’s challenges, like technician shortages, tool sprawl and rapid endpoint growth. Attendees also got an exclusive look at IT Glue’s latest innovations, including Cooper Copilot’s AI enhancements like Smart SOP Generator and the upcoming Unified Client Portal designed to streamline end-client interactions.

Throughout the day, hands-on workshops provided MSPs with practical strategies for scaling QBR processes, applying a human touch to AI-powered documentation and building flexible asset structures to reduce operational stress. The “Glue & Grow Cross-Over” live panel offered real-world insights on scaling businesses, strengthening client relationships and adapting to industry change, all reinforcing a clear message: Strong documentation is key to a thriving MSP. With a full lineup of product updates, best practices and future innovations, the Glue Xperience gave attendees clear, actionable steps to simplify operations, increase profitability and deliver stronger client service.

M&A Symposium puts enterprise value in perspective

Meanwhile, the M&A Symposium, a Kaseya events mainstay, offered expert guidance and actionable insights to 230 attendees hungry for more information about consolidation trends in the MSP market.

The day began with Ramsey Sahyoun, Co-founder and Partner, Evergreen “The State of M&A” keynote, which examined M&A trends and strategies for success and highlighted how MSPs can most effectively increase their market value and position themselves to sell.

The day then took a tactical turn, with Kevin Lancaster, CEO and Co-Founder, Channel Program, looking to financial oversight, particularly around contract management and renewal oversight. As IT services become increasingly commoditized this will create a competitive advantage. A session on letter of intent essentials then followed, lead by Michael Birmingham, Managing Director, Focus Investment Bankers and Stan Gowisnock, Chief Strategy Officer, Focus Investment Bankers. The afternoon featured a close look at Kaseya’s M&A Concierge Platform, which is built to simplify and facilitate the M&A process.

The sessions then shifted to a more strategic approach, with The 20 Founder and CEO Tim Conkle’s presentation, “Don’t Just Sell Your MSP – Own Your Exit” and Gary Pica leading “Extreme Makeover” MSP Edition. The M&A Symposium wrapped with a networking mixer in which attendees could connect and identify buyers and sellers.

The day concluded with the official opening of Kaseya Connect 2025 Welcome Reception at the opening of the Expo Hall.
