The Senior Engineer, End User Technology at Kaseya is responsible for designing, supporting, automating, and continuously improving the end-user technology environment to deliver a secure, reliable, and productive employee experience. This role serves as a senior technical contributor across endpoint engineering, Microsoft 365, Azure, identity services, automation, collaboration platforms, software lifecycle management, software asset management, and emerging AI-enabled productivity technologies. 

This position requires a hands-on engineer with strong technical depth, sound judgment, and the ability to lead complex troubleshooting, improve operational processes, and partner with IT, Security, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders across Kaseya’s global workforce. The Senior Engineer will help drive automation, standardization, endpoint security, application governance, license optimization, and modern workplace initiatives using technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Azure, Flexera, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, HTML, LLMs, TTS, and STT solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a senior technical resource for end-user technology platforms, including Windows and macOS endpoints, laptops, desktops, mobile devices, collaboration tools, and productivity platforms.  
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune and related platforms, including provisioning, configuration profiles, compliance policies, patching, software deployment, and lifecycle management.  
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, distribution lists, mailbox permissions, collaboration tools, access controls, and productivity services.  
  • Support and enhance identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID, including user lifecycle management, security groups, access controls, authentication troubleshooting, and policy enforcement.  
  • Support Azure-based services, integrations, automation workflows, and operational tooling used by IT and end-user technology teams.  
  • Own and support software asset management processes using Flexera, including software discovery, license entitlement tracking, application inventory, usage analysis, compliance reporting, and license optimization.  
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Security, and IT stakeholders to improve Flexera data quality, software governance, renewal planning, and cost optimization efforts.  
  • Use Flexera insights to support software lifecycle decisions, identify unused or underutilized licenses, reduce software spend, and improve compliance with vendor licensing requirements.  
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting for complex endpoint, identity, application, Microsoft 365, collaboration, Flexera, and access-related issues.  
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automation using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, HTML, or similar technologies to streamline IT operations, software asset workflows, endpoint management, reporting, and service delivery.  
  • Support AI-enabled coding and development initiatives, including internal automation, LLM-based productivity solutions, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and AI-assisted development tools.  
  • Use Azure DevOps or similar platforms to manage technical work, documentation, scripts, repositories, deployment workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.  
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes through automation, standardization, device readiness, access management, software assignment, license recovery, and consistent employee experience.  
  • Partner with Security teams to ensure endpoint devices, user platforms, software assets, and access controls align with corporate security standards, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.  
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, configuration standards, runbooks, software asset management procedures, Flexera workflows, and knowledge base content.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, implement, and improve tools, integrations, workflows, application governance, and employee technology experiences.  
  • Mentor junior team members, share technical knowledge, and help establish best practices across endpoint engineering, end-user technology operations, Microsoft cloud services, and software asset management.  
  • Identify recurring issues and drive long-term solutions through root cause analysis, automation, process improvement, platform enhancements, and data-driven recommendations.  

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  
  • 5+ years of experience in end-user computing, endpoint engineering, workplace technology, systems administration, IT operations, or a related technical role.  
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting and managing Windows and macOS endpoints in an enterprise environment.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management platforms, including device provisioning, compliance policies, configuration profiles, patching, and software deployment.  
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, distribution lists, mailbox management, permissions, and collaboration services. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity management, access controls, groups, authentication, and user lifecycle processes.  
  • Working knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based IT administration.  
  • Experience with Flexera or similar software asset management platforms, including software inventory, license tracking, usage analysis, compliance reporting, and license optimization.  
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, HTML, or similar technologies.  
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for work tracking, repositories, automation, documentation, or deployment workflows.  
  • Familiarity with software asset management, SaaS application governance, vendor licensing models, and software lifecycle management.  
  • Experience supporting endpoint security, compliance policies, conditional access, device posture, and secure configuration standards.  
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.  
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.  
  • Experience supporting employees in a fast-paced SaaS, technology, or global enterprise environment.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Advanced experience administering, configuring, or integrating Flexera with endpoint management, procurement, finance, identity, or IT service management systems.  
  • Experience building Flexera reports, dashboards, workflows, or automation to support software asset management, license compliance, renewals, and cost optimization.  
  • Experience with AI-assisted development, LLM-based tools, automation assistants, internal copilots, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, or emerging workplace productivity technologies.  
  • Experience integrating APIs, internal platforms, workflow tools, or enterprise systems.
