Job Summary
We’re hiring a Tech Lead Engineer to design and deliver scalable backend systems using .NET and Azure cloud technologies. This role combines hands-on backend engineering with technical leadership, focused on building cloud-native services, improving system architecture, and driving engineering best practices across the team. You’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable features while mentoring engineers and supporting technical direction across projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core and Azure technologies
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architecture decisions for backend systems and distributed services
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and design collaboration
- Improve engineering practices related to testing, CI/CD, code quality, and system reliability
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to deliver scalable product features and platform improvements
- Support production systems, including troubleshooting, monitoring, release support, and performance optimization
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of backend software engineering experience using .NET / C# in a production environment
- 2+ years of experience in a Tech Lead or Lead Engineer role
- Experience building or supporting production applications in Azure
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and distributed systems
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CQRS or event-driven architecture patterns
- Experience working with Cosmos DB, NoSQL databases, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with containerization or infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Docker, Terraform, Bicep)
- Experience working in high-scale SaaS or distributed environments
- Experience leading technical design reviews or mentoring engineers
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in development workflows
