Datto RMM now allows technicians to initiate Datto AV scans directly from the console, delivering faster access to antivirus actions without switching into Datto EDR.
When Datto AV is active on a device, Quick Scan and Full Scan options are available from the ⋮ (ellipses) menu in the Security card on the device summary page. Scans can be run once per device per hour, with in-app notifications confirming initiation or errors. Results do not display in Datto RMM but will surface through Datto EDR if necessary. This enhanced integration streamlines antivirus management by meeting techs where they’re working to save time and reduce context switching.
