Automatic apex domain inclusion for wildcards in DNS Secure
Datto AV now automatically includes the apex domain whenever you add a wildcard domain to DNS Secure blocklists and allowlists. This helps ensure policies apply consistently across the main domain and its subdomains.
For example, when you enter a wildcard domain like *.example.com, DNS Secure now includes example.com and all related subdomains in the policy. This removes the need to create duplicate entries for the apex domain.
This enhancement saves time during policy setup and helps MSPs reduce configuration gaps that could affect DNS filtering enforcement across client environments.
