Pause agent on metered connections
Datto Endpoint Backup now automatically pauses backups when a device is connected to a metered network, helping manage data usage more efficiently.
The agent detects metered connections and temporarily suspends backup activity until the device reconnects to an unrestricted network, preventing unnecessary data consumption while maintaining protection continuity once normal connectivity resumes. It is available in backup policies.
