2019 IT Operations Survey Report: IT Strategy Trends

For the fifth consecutive year, Kaseya conducted its IT operations Survey among IT professionals from small and midsize businesses (SMBs). This year 496 participants shared their experiences with the various trends and technologies used in managing IT. Particularly, the role of IT director has changed significantly over the past few years, leaning more towards influencing the decision making in the company. IT security continues to be a priority as well as a challenge for most businesses.

While ransomware attacks have dropped, security breaches are still a recurring phenomenon.  Tight budgets continue to plague IT departments, and IT maturity remains same as in the previous year.
