Datto Backup, Datto Secure Edge, Datto BCDR

IT admins can now automatically connect pre-configured Secure Edge gateways to workloads virtualized in the Datto BCDR Cloud directly from the Datto Recovery Launchpad. Connection to the Secure Edge gateway is established in the same interface used to spin up servers and virtual machines (VMs) with Datto’s 1-Click Disaster Recovery, providing a smooth and familiar workflow.

With a single click, an IPsec tunnel is instantly established between the Datto BCDR Cloud and the Secure Edge virtual gateway, which is hosted in AWS. All the heavy lifting — tunnel setup, configuration and provisioning — is handled automatically in the background. No config files, no tunnel parameters to input, no back-and-forth setup steps. Just a simple, automated connection that gets your client back online faster when every second counts.
