File deletion enhancements

Enhancement
Datto EDR, Kaseya 365 Endpoint

Datto EDR now makes file deletion during alert response safer and more reliable. A new confirmation prompt helps prevent accidental deletions by asking you to verify the action before a file is removed. All delete actions are logged to support auditability and administrative review.

This update also improves file removal reliability on Windows devices. It resolves “Access Denied” errors that could occur when files were locked or had limited permissions, so deletions work more consistently across supported Windows versions.

This gives MSP security teams more confidence when taking response actions and helps maintain a clear record of remediation activity.
