You can now audit password strength and integrity across your IT Glue environment with Smart Audit for Passwords. This feature provides a centralized view of weak, stale and duplicate credentials, helping teams quickly identify risks and take action to improve security posture.
Passwords are evaluated using zxcvbn, an industry-standard, open-source algorithm developed by Dropbox that assesses how resistant a password is to real-world attack methods. Each password is assigned a strength score, and any passwords rated below “Fair” are flagged as weak, making it easy to prioritize remediation efforts.
The Password Health widget offers a high-level summary of password strength across your entire account, all organizations or a single organization, giving you clear visibility into credential health at every level.
From within Smart Audit, you can take bulk actions such as deleting, archiving or ignoring passwords, as well as identify stale credentials that have not been accessed in six months or more. Duplicate password values are grouped together, allowing you to quickly uncover reused credentials and address potential vulnerabilities.
For environments using Network Glue, you can also rotate supported credentials such as Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory passwords directly within the platform, streamlining remediation workflows.
By centralizing password auditing and simplifying remediation, Smart Audit for Passwords helps teams enforce stronger security practices, reduce risk and maintain consistent credential hygiene across their organization.
