VSA 10 now expands the device card’s OS Updates capabilities to include Linux, giving technicians clear visibility into available updates and a fast, guided way to apply them. The former Windows Updates section has been renamed OS Updates and now displays Linux devices with a list of available updates and installed packages from the latest scan.
Technicians can trigger a Check for Updates task to refresh available data, then use the Install Updates task to selectively deploy updates (note that important updates are preselected by default) resulting in simpler, safer and more efficient Linux patching.
