Datto AV management and reporting updates
Datto AV now includes a set of focused management and reporting updates designed to make everyday operations faster, clearer and easier to audit. Together, these changes help you understand how policies are configured, who can submit files for analysis and how scans and alerts are behaving across your endpoints.
These four enhancements are bundled in this release:
- Exclusions count - The total number of exclusions now appears next to the “Exclusions” section in each Datto AV policy, making it easier to track and manage large exclusion lists without manual counting.
- Analyst Datto AV file submissions - Users with the “Analyst” role can now submit files for Datto AV malware analysis, a capability previously restricted to “Admins,” improving flexibility for security operations.
- Alerts export limit increased - You can now export more than 200 alerts at once from the “Alerts” page without encountering errors, supporting larger investigations and reporting workflows.
- Datto AV scan history - A new “Datto AV Scan History” table on the “Device” details page provides a 90-day record of completed and failed scans, including “Scan Time,” “Scan Type,” and “Status,” with easy CSV export for compliance or audit needs.
Together, these updates give you better visibility into how Datto AV is configured and performing, reduce manual effort in managing exclusions and exports, and strengthen your documentation of AV activity for both operational and compliance requirements.
