Host Isolation preserves Kaseya and Datto management tool connectivity

August 26, 2026
Enhancement
Datto EDR, Kaseya 365 Endpoint

Datto EDR now keeps key Kaseya and Datto management tools connected when a Windows host is isolated. This allows technicians to continue managing and remediating affected devices without lifting isolation.

Datto RMM, VSA X, RocketCyber, Kaseya MDR, Datto Endpoint Backup v2 and Datto Secure Edge remain accessible during isolation. This release also closes gaps that allowed access to bare domains, applies traffic enforcement consistently across web and terminal sessions, and ensures troubleshooting actions such as fetch log work correctly on isolated devices.

These improvements help organizations contain threats while keeping the tools they need available for investigation and recovery, reducing the need to weaken isolation during incident response.
