Fortify: 46 new Microsoft 365 security controls
SaaS Alerts Fortify has added 46 new and newly automated security controls since May 2026, making it easier for MSPs to strengthen Microsoft 365 security across client environments. These one-click controls help teams apply Microsoft-recommended security settings and continuously monitor compliance without manually configuring each tenant.
The new controls span Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Defender for Office 365, Teams, Defender for Cloud Apps, Purview and Intune. Key enhancements include stronger MFA settings, restrictions on AI agent creation, tighter device access controls and safer file sharing. Additional protections help secure high-value accounts, limit risky email access and detect suspicious sign-ins and application activity.

By automating these security best practices, Fortify helps MSPs reduce manual work, address common security gaps and maintain consistent protection across multiple tenants. The result is simpler Microsoft 365 security management and greater confidence in your clients’ security posture. Microsoft license requirements apply to certain controls.
