VSA 10 MDM: Apple software updates with Declarative Device Management
VSA 10 now supports Declarative Device Management (DDM) for Apple software updates, enabling a more modern, reliable and scalable approach to managing OS updates across Apple devices. This replaces the legacy Software Update MDM payload, helping IT teams align with Apple’s latest device management framework.
New Software Update Settings and Software Update Enforcement configuration options are available within Apple MDM System Configuration profiles, allowing administrators to centrally manage update behavior for supervised and unsupervised iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV devices.
