MDM: iOS location tracking history and additional location details
This release enhances the iOS location tracking capability introduced in VSA 10.24 by adding location history and richer location details. Administrators can now view historical location data alongside timestamps, helping them understand where a device has been — not just its most recent location.
Selecting Last Known Location now opens a dedicated view that displays:
- Device status
- Key identifiers
- Location details (including address, coordinates and last seen time)
- A map centered on the latest location
Timestamps default to the user’s local time zone but can also be displayed using the device’s local time zone.
A dedicated Lost Mode location tracking mode is also available, providing enhanced tracking for lost or stolen devices.
