Remote Control on Demand for macOS devices
Technicians can now use Remote Control on Demand (RCoD) to provide secure, temporary remote support to users on unmanaged macOS devices — without requiring a VSA agent or administrator privileges. This update also enables technicians using macOS devices to initiate RCoD sessions with both Windows and macOS end users.
End users accessing an RCoD session link can now choose the correct installer for Windows or macOS, making the connection process easier across platforms. macOS users can download and run the installer to grant remote access without needing administrator permissions.
RCoD now supports all technician-to-user combinations:
- Windows → Windows
- Windows → macOS
- macOS → Windows
- macOS → macOS
