May 11, 2022 – Sydney – Kaseya, a premier provider of unified IT management and security software for managed service providers (MSPs) and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced today its line-up of must-see speakers and sessions for Connect IT Asia-Pacific, which will take place July 19-21, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. The event, which is being held live for the first time in two years, is jam-packed with insights for every IT professional—from information on building bulletproof business plans to top tips on fighting ransomware.
Connect IT Asia-Pacific offers attendees the opportunity to hear Paralympic surfer and cyclist Matt Formston speak about his experience overcoming extraordinary obstacles despite being diagnosed with macular dystrophy, which left him legally blind at a young age. Formston is a three-time International Surfing Association Para Surfing World Champion. Renowned entrepreneur Scotty Schindler will also speak on the five characteristics of successful people, with advice on how individuals can create and achieve their own definition of success.
Additionally, because hiring continues to be a challenge across the tech industry, the event is offering a session hosted by Blair Whitehead, Proforce founder, about building high-performing sales teams. IT professionals will also be able to gain insights into regional compliance regulations like Essential 8 and IT best practices such as documentation and executive reporting through sessions hosted by Kaseya experts. Attendees can also participate in certified administrator trainings for VSA, Unitrends and IT Glue to enhance their skills and get the most out of their Kaseya solutions.
“Whether you’re an MSP looking to grow your business or an internal IT professional searching for solutions to your compliance challenges, Connect IT Asia-Pacific will provide you with the information you need to strengthen your organization,” said Dermot McCann, Kaseya SVP and General Manager, APAC. “We understand the challenges that IT professionals face, and we created this event to provide solutions to critical issues like tech staffing and operational inefficiencies that slow organizational growth.”
Connect IT Asia-Pacific is holding an M&A Summit on the first day of the conference to provide MSPs with information on the regional M&A landscape—including a look at the financials of a successful merger and panels featuring investors, buyers, sellers, and aggregators in the space. Hamilton Locke and EY will participate in the discussion, as well as Daniel Carcia, CEO of Virtual IT Group, who will share his strategy to drive business operations and how to leverage technology solutions to solve business challenges.
