Bowie, MD, Sept. 30, 2019 – ID Agent, a Kaseya company and the leading threat intelligence and identity monitoring provider, continues to push the boundaries of exceptional channel service delivery. Today, CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, recognized Dan Tomaszewski, vice president channel success and training, ID Agent, as one of the IT channel’s “100 People You Don’t Know But Should” for 2019. This annual list honors IT channel contributors from the industry’s top vendors and distributors who work tirelessly to support channel partners — often with little recognition from the channel community at large.
Dan Tomaszewski came to ID Agent after building a successful MSP business as CEO and growing the company from a startup to $1.675M in revenue in just three years. Known by many in the channel as “the Golf Guy,” Dan experienced the same objections MSPs face every day and today uses this intimate knowledge to coach MSPs in how to overcome those objections, set appointments with the right prospects and close new business. It’s Dan’s mission to help ID Agent and Kaseya partners effectively use our tools and resources to execute successful campaigns and grow their revenues.
“Dan has a gift for teaching, helping and truly caring about people,” said Fred Voccola, CEO, Kaseya. “He knows exactly what our customers challenges are because he’s been there himself. It’s his ability to step into their shoes that gives our customers confidence and trust that the expertise Dan imparts comes with the best intentions for their success. Congratulations Dan on this well-deserved honor.”
“It’s not every day you get recognized by your peers as a leader in your field,” said Dan Tomaszewski, vice president channel success and training, ID Agent. “The way I see it, I’m just doing my job – a job that I love because I’m able to directly help our customers prosper. I’m humbled by this recognition from CRN and would like to thank all the other unnamed individuals who helped me get to where I am today.”
CRN’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list celebrates the IT channel’s unsung heroes. The CRN editorial team compiles the list using feedback from solution providers and industry executives and identifies behind-the-scenes channel players who help partners drive growth, innovation, and profits.
“The 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list spotlights under-the-radar IT executives who provide channel partners with the resources and support they need to succeed,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are honored to recognize these individuals in our 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list for their exceptional channel contributions.”
