FBI Advisory: Hacktivists Use of DDoS Activity Causes Minor Impacts

The FBI has released a Private Industry Notification to highlight distributed denial of service tactics being used by pro-Russian hacktivist groups to target critical infrastructure companies. Attacks are generally opportunistic in nature and, with proper mitigation steps, have minimal impact. Kaseya recommends that any MSP providing IT service to critical infrastructure organizations review this notification, and specifically the recommendations section.
