Kaseya Surges in First Half of 2018 with Strong Growth and MSP Adoption

NEW YORK and MIAMI – Aug. 27, 2018 – Kaseya®, the leading provider of complete IT infrastructure management solutions for managed service providers (MSPs) and internal IT organizations, today announced ongoing corporate momentum in the first half of 2018. As demand for Kaseya’s IT Complete platform expands, the company continues to exceed growth and sales expectations.

Kaseya’s customer-centric focus continues to drive strong financial results for the company, with year-over-year growth well over 30 percent so far in 2018 and the company on track to hit over $250 million in annual bookings. Introducing new product releases and enhancements, Kaseya continues to revolutionize the market as its MSP business grows by more than 50 percent and the company continues to grab greater market share from competitors.

“Our continuous innovation and comprehensive product offerings, including the recent acquisition of Unitrends, allow Kaseya to provide best in class, fully integrated solutions across our customers’ entire spectrum of IT Infrastructure management needs – and, we’re able to provide this at a fraction of the cost of our competitors,” said Fred Voccola, CEO of Kaseya. “The commercial success we are experiencing is reflective of the most important KPI that we track here at Kaseya; the success of our customers. The feedback that we receive from our global customer base is simple –Kaseya makes them successful whether that is because they are able to be more effective at managing all of IT or in the case of our MSPs, because they are able to be more profitable.”

“In addition to our industry-leading technology, Kaseya is blessed with two incredible assets, our customers and our employees. Our employees’ relentless pursuit of customer success and satisfaction has created a very strong bond between our employees and our customers, and this is the single largest reason for our continued success.”

H1 2018 Milestones include:

Acquisition of Unitrends

In May, Kaseya announced its acquisition of Unitrends, the global leader of all-in-one enterprise backup and continuity solutions. By combining Unitrends’ award-winning business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) technologies with Kaseya’s market leading IT Complete suite of IT management solutions, the merger provides MSPs and mid-market enterprises with a single solution that meets all their critical IT needs. The pairing also provides an expanded market for Unitrends into the MSP landscape and further drives business for Kaseya MSPs as Unitrends is sold 100% through the channel. Kaseya MSPs can leverage Unitrends to approach larger client accounts and grow their VAR businesses — watch for some exciting new programs here in Q4.

Product Highlights

BMS by Kaseya

This year to-date, Kaseya has closed approximately 250 competitor displacement sales for BMS, the company’s professional services automation (PSA) solution and Kaseya’s BMS business is projected to more than double in size by the end of 2018.

Earlier this year, Kaseya released its Billing Automation module and two-way calendar sync for BMS. With Billing Automation, users can define the jobs that will post, post and bill, or generate selected billing entries at a scheduled frequency. The filters, plus a multitude of selective fields, allow users to customize and refine what billing entries apply as well as how far along it is taken into a Billing Review process, making it a great addition to BMS Finance. Additionally, the invoice generation process can now be completely automated by using Billing Automation’s flexible filters and recurring scheduling options to automatically generate invoices and completely bypass the multi-step Billing Review process. MSPs can “set it and forget it” when it comes to their invoicing, saving a tremendous amount of time and effort.

Compatible with Exchange, Office 365, G-Suite and iCal, two-way calendar sync synchronizes data to and from BMS in near real-time, allowing users to seamlessly manage technician schedules. Rave reviews and customer exuberance for these and other new product features including in-line training videos that make BMS the easiest, most cost-effective PSA solution to adopt and deploy, language localization to German, Dutch and Italian, and tight integration with VSA and leading third-party management tools such as QuoteWerks, Xero, IT Glue and more has translated into accelerated sales traction.

Kaseya Unified Backup (KUB)

Powered by Unitrends MSP, Kaseya Unified Backup represents the latest in the evolution of the Kaseya IT Complete platform. KUB brings together enterprise-class backup, ransomware detection, and cloud-based BCDR services in a powerful, all-in-one, appliance-based platform. Together, KUB and Kaseya Cloud Backup provide a complete solution set, offering customers a choice between either appliance-based or cloud-based backup.

Kaseya One

Kaseya One introduced during Kaseya’s user conference in May has been received with great fanfare, early customer adoption and overwhelming demand. Designed from the ground up to optimize efficiency and productivity, Kaseya One provides a single-pane-of-glass, unified interface and entry point for the Kaseya IT Complete platform. The workflow-based solution is extensible and customizable, and delivers a role-based, bird’s-eye view for infrastructure monitoring. Users can quickly and decisively drill down into tasks or potential problem areas and gain critical insights into the inner workings of their Kaseya deployment.

VSA

Kaseya introduced a new era of remote monitoring and management (RMM) with the latest version of VSA, offering the industry’s only second-generation RMM solution. New features provide enhanced security, deeper integrations, cloud storage and enhanced management capabilities. The latest release of VSA also offers an improved, consolidated, more capable user experience in the areas most important to Kaseya customers – including support for native Microsoft PowerShell in Live Connect, enhanced PSA integration with BMS, backup automation with Kaseya Cloud Backup (KCB) and more. Built on a foundation that promotes the best user technician experience in the industry, VSA by Kaseya is the ideal RMM solution for growing IT departments.

MSP Growth

Rapid Adoption of RMM 2.0

The market reception of Kaseya’s recent second-generation release of its flagship RMM product, VSA, has substantially exceeded expectations. In the first several months of its release, over 300 organizations have adopted the technology, and leveraged its native network management, as well as its integration with IT Glue’s documentation platform.

Kaseya’s native inclusion of network management into RMM uniquely enables MSPs and internal IT organizations to manage their entire infrastructure from a single console. With Kaseya, users can forgo the headaches associated with the disparate functional responsibility of managing servers, desktops and networks that is so common in large enterprises. The result is time saved and improved performance that MSPs can provide to their customers and enterprises can take advantage of for themselves.

Growth of Unitrends MSP
Since the introduction of Unitrends MSP, the business unit has exceeded expectations with new MSP signings–nearly 400 secured so far this year. The high adoption is driven by Unitrends’ tight integration with VSA by Kaseya, enabling MSPs to backup customer data and provide piece of mind, especially with the rise of ransomware.
