My first month since joining Kaseya

Announcements / News

My first 30 days at Kaseya has been all about understanding the business processes, customers, and more importantly, experiencing the inclusive and thriving team culture.

A year ago, it would have been ludicrous to think that I’ll move to Bangalore. But, here I am, living in the IT hub of India, and I could not be happier.

On Christmas Eve, I joined in as a Product Marketing Manager at Kaseya. Honestly, marketing Kaseya’s IT infrastructure management solutions seemed too overwhelming at first. But with the help of a great team, I was able to get over the learning curve without breaking a sweat.

So let’s start from the basics, what is Kaseya?

Kaseya is the leading provider of complete IT infrastructure management solutions for both managed service providers (MSPs) and internal IT organizations worldwide. Learn more about Kaseya here.

These thirty days have been a whirlwind. The first two weeks were filled with intense training sessions, followed with a trip to Kaseya HQ, Miami. The trip consisted of handshakes, exchange of ideas, product roadmap for the future, and ended with a pina colada at the Havana in Miami Beach.

Kaseya offers to employees as much it does to its customers. Here are four things Kaseya does that has fascinated me in my short time here.

Customer First, Always

At Kaseya ‘customer first’ is more than just lip service. Our priority is to provide an exceptional customer experience, both at the point of sale and post that. It seems to be a mindset across the entire organization because everyone I met works from a customer-centric standpoint rather than a product-centric perspective.

Great Leadership

Kaseya has a great leadership team that understands both customer and employee expectations and makes the best effort to deliver on all grounds.

Whether it’s our CEO, Fred Voccola or EVP sales and Marketing, Paul Farr, they are quick to find solutions to employee and customer problems. Moreover, the senior leadership team spent three days with employees for an internal company event listening to presentations, answering questions, and taking feedback.

It was great to meet Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola, under whose leadership Kaseya’s market value jumped from $85M to $275M within roughly two years, by simply focusing on the important things — customers and employees.

Teamwork is important

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” —African Proverb.

Together is power. Kaseya is built on the belief there is power in working together. I’m honestly impressed with the high level of collaboration and willingness to adjust course as needed.

Think different

Innovation isn’t just limited to engineers. Leadership encourages out-of-the-box thinking in all facets of the organization that includes the product team as well.

Kaseya is a place to carry out your big ideas, develop new skills, and advance your career.

Onward and Upward

My first month at Kaseya has been incredible. I am thankful to be doing a job I love, at such a global and diverse company. I am thankful for my boss (Michael Yang) and mentors (Matt Machado, Tracy Hernandez) who encourage me to ask questions, and who trust me to follow my gut.

Thirty days ago, I walked into Kaseya with high expectations and I’m happy to say Kaseya exceeded them all. I’m really proud to work with an inspiring team doing a lot of meaningful work. I look forward to all the experiences and learning Kaseya will bring!

And, we’re still hiring in case you are interested. 😉
