Challenges

Coming from a strong MSP background with extensive experience in telecom, Chris recognized that while Two River had carved out a valuable reputation, their growth potential was capped by an outdated and unscalable toolset. Despite their success, the company’s IT tools were disjointed and stale, causing inefficiencies that could no longer be ignored.

Determined to make Two River more successful, Chris delved deep into the existing toolkit to pinpoint critical weaknesses and opportunities for quick wins. The transition began with replacing an outdated ConnectWise Automate with Datto RMM, despite initial resistance from the company’s technicians, who were unknowingly blinded by comfortability. The injection of Datto RMM not only transformed the company’s operational efficiency but also paved the way for a broader adoption of Kaseya’s IT Complete platform.

Within a year, Chris managed to consolidate a fragmented system of over seven different vendors into an all-encompassing Kaseya solution, transforming Two River’s toolset into a future-focused integrated platform that includes Datto RMM, SaaS Protection, BCDR and Endpoint Backup, Networking, IT Glue, ID Agent and RocketCyber.

The adoption of Kaseya’s IT Complete platform was nothing short of transformative for Two River, catapulting them to unprecedented levels of operational efficiency. The company was able to achieve a staggering 28% reduction in tool costs and dozens of manual labor hours each month, as well as streamlined billing processes that significantly enhanced their profitability and service delivery.

“One of my biggest takeaways from going through this process with my technicians was realizing the level of toxicity on Reddit,” says Chris. “My technicians always knew there was a Kaseya-hater crowd on there, but they didn’t realize how much the rhetoric had impacted them until they saw first-hand the undeniable benefits of having an IT Complete stack.”
